TBH when people said ff is faster than IE 6 i never really saw a difference and somtimes even thought IE was faster but thought it couldn't be. But i must admit, the free opera i downloaded seemed much faster than IE (i noticed that).

Well I do. IE on my system is really slow... loading pages takes quite literally forever. regular FF is considerably faster then IE(6) over here.

Once I sped up FF it obviously got better, and the MOOX release which in the test didn;t do much does in fact make a difference on my system. i guess maybe a lower specs system shows clearer results? I dunno... regardless it's faster.

Opera is faster than regular FF (i've checked this now) but not as fast as MOOX FF.... but Opera is just nicer overall imho...... I used to have Opera but got kinda sick of the ads.... now without the ads i'm once again quite in love with it :) ... wouldnt mind speeding it up just a bit though ;)

What exactly surprised you Kev?
