hi,
I just took delivery of the t66.
Have just plugged it into the charger, and cant actually get it to work. is
the phone dead?!?
Even tried both batteries

Hi, the battery may need charging because it has been in the box and unused for about a month due to a non paying bidder. It might even need charging fully. If that fails try pressing the 'on' button really hard. The button was like that when i bought off ebay and it needs to be pressed hard. Let me know if it works.

im not getting anything when i plug the charger into the phone.
tried both batteries, and even tried a different charge. it jus tseems as if
the pins on the bottom of the phone are dead.
you sure you had no problems with this?

Hi, i haven't had any problems with this myself. If the light comes on then it is charging. Also have you tried to turn it on by pressing the on button hard?

theres no light at all when i plug the charger in. nothing on the screen
either.
i've tried pushing the on button all the way into the phone! but nothing
happens.

Hi, it might need charging fully so it might not come on until it has even a little bit of energy, if try and charge it for maybe a couple of hours it should come on then.
If you have the time try this and please let me know how it turns out then. I assure you that this has never happened to me and if it did it would have said in the auction, also i did say it was a little faulty but not this much. I will try my best to help as much as i can.

Hi, i was able to leave the t66 charging overnight, but when attempting to
turn it on again this morning, i still had no luck.
I've just been to a Carphone Warehouse repair cetre, and they said it's
gonna cost a minimum of ?30 to repair it. I'm not willing to pay this,
because from the descripton you gave on ebay, the phone had minor faults,
but never said anywhere that it didnt work altogether.
Based on this, i have no option but to return the phone and ask for my money
back.
E-mail me back to go over any details you feel should be settled.

Hi, in the auction i said that the on button needed to be pressed hard. The way you are describing it was not what it was like when i had it. I don't understand why it is not even switching on, the on button does need to be pressed quite hard. I can't offer you a refund because it was not like that when i had it, sorry but i can't really do much more than tell you the faults.The auction described the phone as accurate as possible and would not lie about something. The phone was faulty when i bought it myself but not like this. Sorry.

As far as im concerned, you've sold me a faulty phone. Because there is no
mention of this in your description on ebay, i can only assume youve
advertised this falsely.
I used the official charger you supplied in the box to try and charge the
phone, but still no luck. Pushing the no button as hard as it will go, still
will not make the phone turn on.
Ive even tried attaching aan IST-20 sonyericsson torch to the phone to see
if any power is going through, but the phone seems to be powerless, even
after a full charge.
Unless you give me a full refund or pay for any repairs to the phone, to get
it to working order as described in your ebay desciption. I have no option
but to refer this to ebay complaints.

Hi, i will agree to pay half the cost of repairs. For both our sakes please shop around and look at other phone shops to see what they charge and try get it fixed for cheaper. I had a problem with a phone once and got a quote from a small phone shop, it was cheaper than going to a place like carphone warehouse. Let me know if you accept this offer, this the best i will do because the reason i sold the phone for so cheap was becaus eof faults like the on button. I also stated that it could be used as spares. Like i said anyway let me know, we have had a good transaction up to now and i don't want to ruin it.
