Alpha Dog - yawn, based on a true story, but the real events sound more interesting than the film was 5/10

Without a Paddle - twas OK - 5.5/10 - didn't realise seth green was a midget either until this.

The Bourne Ultimatum - really good, thoroughly enjoyed the whole series, definitely gonna check out the original novels now 8/10

The Painted Veil - Both Naomi Watts' and Ed Norton's English accents pretty poor, Naomi Watts not looking as hot as usual either... 6/10

Captivity - more like craptivity - mildly entertaining but that's about it - 3/10

Zoolander - still funny 8/10

Snakes On A Plane - take a plane-load of cheese, add some obviously-animated snakes, some bad actors, a Sam Jackson and some catchphrases, mix together, bake for 2hours..... 5/10

You have to take Snakes on a Plane for what it really no frills, old-school, action flick a la Commando etc. it aint great but then it isn't supposed to be - just enough to entertain without you actually thinking about it - best viewed when drunk

Disturbia - very slow to start with but got more tense [better] towards the end - entertaining enough but nothing special - 5.5/10

didn't miss the point, I got exactly what it was supposed to be, I just didn't find it very entertaining, the 'old-school action' that ed mentioned was poor I thought

Dodgeball - yawnfest, I think I managed to raise what nearly became a chuckle about 3 times all film, Ben Stiller needs to get over himself. 5/10
