Final Fantasy XII....

i'm thinking of getting it as possibly the last game i'll buy PS2 - tis getting some excellent reviews and they reckon gameplay time is 60-100 hours, so should keep me off spunking my money on a Wii or a 360 for a while

Anyone seen it in action?

I had one of the earlier ones on PS2 and really enjoyed it, but if I remember rightly I never actually finished it because I got momentously stuck after what seemed like playing forever!

how are you getting on with Quake 4 and Condemned?

not touched Condemned yet as like to stick to one game at a time, i'm on the Data Networking Terminal level on Quake 4, which I believe is one of the last ones
