FEAR Extraction Point - more uber violence for me then

cannot frickin' wait til next friday (my birthday, dont forget the pressies) for Gears of War - haven't been this excited about a game for a long time.

It seems games season is finally back on now, got Call of Duty 3 coming next couple of days and it gets a cracking review, also Rainbow Six Vegas is out on a few weeks and the Xbox 360 demo was top

reviews haven't been that good for FEAR Extraction Point from what i've seen because of it's brevity, sounds like it's even shorter an expansion than HL2: Episode One was

read a couple of reviews, pc Gamer gave it 80%+ but P Zone gave it 60% 'ish. having read both (i always read reviews before buying) i decided to give it a bash :alt: not read much about it being really short just that it's a lot harder.

i read the ign.com review the other day, they said there's 6 levels, the first 4 are really good, then the fifth there isn't a single fire-fight and the 6th there's only one, and all the scenery looks exactly the same as the original game

well all the scenery in the original game looked exactly the same throughout so that's no surprise :p

im on the second level now and im heading through a church which is a far cry from the original, the graphics are improved as well.

expansion packs are never as big as the original game, that's why they're so much cheaper :alt:

Gears of War - fecking amazing, mildly tactical but bloody gorgeous and satisfying shooter!

Rainbow 6 Vegas - fecking amazing tactical and thinking man's shooter!

Call of Duty 3 - fecking amazing medium tactical, gorgeous looking and thoroughly enjoyable WW2 shooter!

all on your nearest Xbox 360 now :p
