Em is there anyway to make firefox check thunderbird for new emails every 5 minutes and if there is a new email to notify me without setting thunderbird as the default mail client? Or in outlook express 6 to notify me when a message appears in a certain folder and to check every 5 minutes.
On and maybe some way of opening links i click in thunderbird with ff w/o making ff the default browser?
I really need to accounts on this pc
Sorted: To open mailto links in thunderbird use launchy
Then use minimizetotray extension to get thunderbird to check for emails but not be displayed in the task bar
