Also anyone else noticed that google.com now forwards to co.uk (or local equivalent)

Can't say i've ever noticed it forwarding at all...

Think the main idea for the suggest thing is if you can't spell a company name or similar...

hmm but it does that any way. i use google as a spell checker for band names etc by just typing how i think it is spelt and let google tell me how it actually is spelt

same here, i sometimes use google as an online dictionary as well

Maybe that suggest name is for if you want to search for a really long name, it makes it quicker?
