napster has a free 1 week trial. going to give it a go later and check it out. i hear ntl are going to include it in their bband plus package which costs ?9.95/month (same as napster on its own) but offers loads of other stuff too.
just trying it now and first impressions are very impressive. easy to use, looks very professional and there are so many tracks on there. you can play anything you want for the ?9.95/mnth and buy stuff you like. fair bit of dance stuff on there too which im surprised about.
I've been using allofmp3.com for bout a month now.
Cool thing is, i can have the allofmp3 explorer running on my mini at home, so if i order something at work, it'll download the CD automatically ready for me to listen to when i get home
no im using it as we speak with no realplayer, or at least dont need rp on your pc. its pretty good actually, the mrs is playing all 60's and disco stuff at the moment. songs are very easy to find and connection is instant. you can set up play lists and download music to your pc without having to buy it. it seems when you cancel your sub you will not be able to play the music you have downloaded and not bought. all downloaded music played in winamp btw.
so far i think napster is pretty sweet. im listening to all sorts of stuff i never have before. basically it gives you a playlist of 750k songs as long as you are subscribed. got a month to see if it is worth keeping or not.
