Software for batch-editing of file properties

Sometimes buggy, sometimes crash but usually useful! PC software related discussions here.

Software for batch-editing of file properties

Post by 117 »

I'm after something that i can batch-edit file properties, eg i want to change the artist name of a load of mp3s all at once, instead of manually editing each one (which takes bloody ages). any ideas?

well this is prolly not what u want to do but it's a good tip nontheless.. if u want to rename a lot of files in windows but all the same name such as kevs pic 1, kevs pic 2 etc

then highlight all the files u want to rename whilst holding down the shift key then right click and select rename then type kevs pic and voila they will all rename in numerical order :)
