PC keeps resetting itself!

Hello there,

I'm running an AMD64 on a K8V deluxe motherboard, 512mb ram, radeon 9800 pro (what else have i missed?)

I'm getting slightly miffed about this resetting problem i'm getting. I'll be doing something (usually playing a game) when out of nowhere my PC will hard reboot. No warning, hang, blue screen, nothing. No log of it ever happening in event viewer.

I've tested my RAM, i've tested my CPU temperature, i've reinstalled windows and my games on 3 different hard drives, i've done everything i could think of possibly doing.

Now i've never had a faulty PSU before, but i'm starting to think that, being as it seems to be nothing to do with there being any record of anything in event viewer, no blue screen and no hang, it could be this! With my inexperience in the PSU area i've got no idea about any tell tale signs or suchlike that might help me diagnose it.

Does anyone have any suggestions? If i've not posted enough information i'll ammend the post as soon as possible.

the fact that it's happening when your putting your system under stress ie playing games and all the other testing you've done it does sound like it could be down to your psu. has it started happening since you upgraded any components? how old, what wattage and make is your current psu?
