GTA San Andreas to be released on Xbox and PC

Not all of us like the GTA series but there can be no doubt that it is one of the most popular video gaming series ever created. The games publisher Take Two have announced that the latest instalment and hugely popular PS2 game - San Andreas - is now to be released on both the PC and Xbox in June 2005. No doubt great news for many people!

rumours had been circulated for aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaages, but cheers anyways

there'll more than likely be an online multi-player mod for the PC version developed by fans, as they've made one for GTA:III and also Vice City methinks

Think it was inevitable that they would release it multi-format. There's no point at all only releasing it on one platform, when you can make much more money

the only reason that Vice City and San Andreas were originally PS2-only is because of a deal that Rockstar/Take Two had with Sony to release it like that, but I believe that deal is now over so any future GTA releases are likely to be multi-format from the start

That i didn't know. Doubt i'll be playing the next GTA game for at least a year after its out anyway
