Cheap Broadband?

Anyone know what any decent deals/isps? My sister is wanting to upgrade to BB and is thinking of Virgin at ?17.99/month (dont know what speed that is as need to talk to her) problem is it is limited to 3gb's per month which is hella crappy imo.

just talked to her. yeah its 3gb / month limit and 512kb. waste of time imo. yeah its faster that ntl's 300kbs ?17.99 service but whats the point if your limited to such a small download quota.

So we aren't in a Cable area (wud have thought that the centre of manc wud have!!??)
Anyway - we can get NTL freedom - 512k - 5gb download limit - do you think this wud be ok???

yeah 5gb still isnt great. i take it ntl freeddom is a adsl (telephone) service from ntl? im sure there must be other providers without such a small download limit.

the NTL freedom is ?17.99 / month & yep thru the phone line
will have a look what other companies offer - let me know if you find anything decent for about ?20 a month

you could always look at
adslguide.
The smaller ones no ones heard of are more likely to have higher limits

Just found tesco - 512k - unlimited download @ ?19.97p/m
so will prob do that now

Try looking at Pipex, wanadoo, plusnet
I've herd supanet are one of the cheapest non restricted (in which i mean no download limits) broadband providers, but there service maybe bad, i'm not sure
Maybe also look at bulldog if you want a fast connection and live in london
