Right just signed up for some free web hosting.

have never made a website just a crappy o2 wapsite which was crap.
I joined up with webmatrixhosting,tis only a free trial it all gets deleted after 30 days
But im just learning so don't really bother me.

sometime ago i remember some1 on esato talking about .htaccess and once uploaded to webspace u can access via fone.
I want to just put some fone pics and ringtones so that i can access via my fone if that is at all possible?

Now i haven't even created a page or anyting yet all i got is 2 files
default.aspx & Web.config? a Virtual directory URL,and a FTP server name.

i have a file manager,sql manager,front page server extensions...
not really sure where to start?

Any help or links to good starter guides would be sound

the .htaccess file tells the browser what to do with certain kinds of files, eg save a ringtone to your phone etc if i remember rightly. can't remember exactly but i'll have a look tomorra <br/><br/><i>[i][color=#006699]wapwap oops!![/color][/i]</i>

as i said just playin with a few ideas at the mo,plus getting used to HTML/xHTML tags etc..
