How to delete .exe download link? which i cannot see

Ting is i got 3 of these they are links to games downloads,i got 1 of them free when i signed up with fileplanet 'Rainbow six 3' which i have twice on my pc and the other..can't remember.
I tried what i know, like into safe mode and into cmd which i could see the file "ravenshield-dm.exe" but when i try to delete it says file cannot be found? got to be a bit carefull as i got the game on me HD.
everytime i try to delete it it says file is in sharing violation? does this mean its being used as a download for others..

na can't be i cut the connection
the file looks like this cuz i can't find a name for the actual download app itself cuz thats what it is.
(the 1 on the left only)
My system reset when downloading it and it carried on when system restarted.
And it don't appear it add remove programs.
So how the hell do i get rid? s'pose i could try killing sumit in the registry.....? But since i got the game i don't really want to delete part of the game.
Maybe a good reg clean proggy

so where can you see the icon, on your desktop?
a good reg cleaner which i cannot fault is registry mechanic. works faultlessly for me and it's very quick
(plus got it free with a mag which was a bonus)

hmmm not sure then

can't you just cut and paste them out of the way somewhere until the solution appears? at least that way you wont have to look at them

nope wont let me
even tried to just drag & drop them some place else, but still wouldn't let me.
Oh yeah they aren't on my desktop

2 are in 1 directory and the other somewhere else.
But they in folders i use all the time
Actually i can move 1 cuz i have a double of one of them,so it will let me drag and overwrite the file,s'pose thats 1 less...
But still they really pissing me off,and could be the reason for some of my other problems.
So if i can see them but not delete them even through cmd i'm stumped.
Btw that reg claen proggy is shithot
It cleared reg values from games i uninstalled yonks ago and exe files, but

not the 1 i wanted it to kill.

i had a similar problem with a dodgy download off Kazaa about a year or so ago, safe mode didnt solve anything, and in the end the only solution that worked was a reformat

if you can move the icons into the proggies main folder in safe mode then surely that would be a solution, sort of

but like i said ,it will let move 1 file to overwrite the other which will leave 2 that i can't move.
I'll restart in safe mode and try
Don't really want to have to reformat..

just thought you may be able tp do it in safe mode rob. it's not worth reformatting over a couple of icons, worst case uninstall your game and keep the save games

but thats just it, it's not the game install proggy it's a third party download manager/link.
I already downloaded the game same with the other 1 but uninstalled that 1.
so it wouldn't do anyting to it cuz it aint part of it.It says it maybe in use with another file which has got to be there somewhere.
Oh and it didn't work in safe mode but at least there's just 2 of them now,as it let me drag the 1 over to the other folder which overwrited it.

im stuck tbh.
one last try - i use a great little proggy called zdelete to keep my pc clean of temp files, old internet files and all that crap. it is also very good at deleting files and stuff so it may well delete your icons (it may not to) and if you ever sell your pc you can use it to wipe your hard drives first
download the evaluation version and try it - wont cost you anything

(but the way it's going i might)
if i can't sort all the probs out i will do a reformat followed by a fresh install tis pissing me off having crap on my HD.
