Windows - window management software

Anyone know of any decent freeware software for managing the size of windows - i.e. so I can pre-define sizes and positions of windows on my desktop that I can easily switch between rather than re-sizing and re-positioning all the time?
Had a quick look on download.com but couldn't really see anythign that suited

hmmm interesting concept. never heard of anything that could do that but would be interested to find some myself.

last.fm shows that he's been online as recently as less than 29mins ago, I reckon he just doesn't love us any more____
