Does anyone know how to use an XDA Mini S with Windows Mobile 5 as a modem for my laptop??

Thought Ed might know since he is a gadget freak and I've lost his number.

presumably it's a bluetooth phone? if your laptop has bluetooth you should be able to do it that way with the sw that comes with the phone for the pc, when you connect it to the pc it normally installs modem drivers. not sure in entirety coz i've never used an xda or even a windows mobile device

It does install a modem and I can turn on the xda to be a modem via the usb lead but I don't know what number to dial if any.

The gprs is always on so I shouldn't have to dial any number.

I try to connect and it hands around for a while then fails. Can't remember the error number. If I don't turn on the modem on the XDA it fails instantly so its trying to work.

To use it as a modem you need the dialup number from O2 to use them as the ISP, possibly get the settings sent to the xda from their website?
