Google help us to stay organised.

Google has launched its latest salvo against rivals such as Yahoo and Microsoft, unveiling a free online calendar service.

The web calendar lets people store appointments, receive reminders and share schedules with others.

It is tied in to Google's e-mail service, Gmail, automatically offering to add the date information in a message to the calendar.

The calendar is Google's latest effort to offer all-purpose web services.

Good idea but i'm not going to get rid of my hotmail for a calander! I'll just have o wait untill hotmail copy it. lol

Windows Live Mail (Hotmail's replacement) already has a Calendar option. If you sign up for the WLM beta (don't worry, it stills uses your hotmail email address etc) then you can check the calendar out from there

What would I need a calendar for anyway? Actually stupid question I get it now. Thats a minor thing but I do think Google's mail is the best all round.
