should get them then, always get the latest drivers for your graphics card as it will give them hella more performance.

and use driver cleaner in safe mode after unistalling old drivers to get rid of problem causing dregs

do i run that before or after installing the new drivers?

unistall old drivers then boot into safe mode (run/msconfig/boot.ini and click on safeboot) and run driver cleaner. then boot back normally and install new drivers. it is worth disconnecting from the net before doing this as xp will automatically pull a set of default drivers down when you reboot which you dont really want.
most people dont bother doing all that but then they may get problems later on in games etc
