would he? any chance u could help pino,if u could please :) would be great :D

Going to av a google see if i can find anyting
found this on microsoft's site but don't tell how to fix it really...

SYMPTOMS

While shutting down an application the system may stop with a STOP 0x0000001E or STOP 0x00000024 error message. In the case of the STOP 0x0000001E the first parameter will always be C0000005.

CAUSE

This problem occurs when an application opens a lot of handles but never closes them. This has been seen when an application continually opens a registry key but never closes it. When the application is closed the system attempts to close all of the keys but runs out of system resources while doing it.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, the application has to be modified to close the registry key when it is done with it.

well it mentions your ntfs file system but i dont know if it means that is the cause. a reformat could well sort it out i guess. have you fitted a new motherboard recently?

ok ok well if it was me i would first reinstall windows and start afresh then if it still did it i would go down the process of elimintation and take all hardware out one at a time to see if it sure it. try using just one stick of ram, or another graphics card etc to eliminate hardware issues.

I'm tinking it maybe my RAM cuz last nite was downloading a game,pc had been on for a couple of hours and than i heard 2 bios beeps..
(thought it was goung to reset but didn't) This is a parity circuit error.

This is what i found

Explanation:

The parity circuit is responsible for generating and checking the parity bit on the system memory when parity checking is used. This circuitry is not working properly.

Diagnosis:

This code usually means a problem with either the system memory or the motherboard

So could this be a memory failure,or memory leak,or the fact that my mobo dont reckonize me ram?
S'pose i should try running with 1 stick :(

Well i thought i'd do a bios upgrade too which went fine :D and i'm just about to pull a stick out as i forgot to when, thats what i opened it for in the first place

*update*

Right so far i have taken a stick of memory out then tested that with recal probe which came up clear,pc still resets.
Now i've swapped the memory again to the other stick but aint run recal probe yet. but i have still had a reset.

1 ting i aint sure tho is i tried to put 1 of the memory sticks in slot 2 but when i fired me pooter up,had power to everyting but nothing on the screen?
should it not work in any of my 3 slots?

now i have also checked the second stick of ram and still same problem :( and i'm still getting 1-2 bios beeps every now and then, heard 2 beeps last nite and just the 1 beep today.

For the ami bios beeps, says i should try reseating the ram which i have done or get some well known good ram, which i tink i will do.

I'll have to see if i can borrow a stick from some1 and try that.
