im deffo not bored of my p800, spraying it pink was an individualism thing
p800's are so bloody common these days
personally, if i had never bought a p800, and had the choice now wheter to go for a p8 or p9, the p900 would win hands down.
has more features, and it does look better.
i think the P-series is deffo one of those things you need to have owned to genuinly make up a conclusion about wheter you need it or not. I could easily get through my day using a t610, its just the features of the p800 are endless, it occupies your life. you NEED to use it
RAH!
RAH!
RAH!
/me goes loopy
get a p900!
death to the 800

my p800 doesnt occupy my life, i use it for wap and occasional net broswsing, email and making calls - thats it! and making calls is a total pain in the arse without the flip and even with the flip on if u want to input long touch tone strings its crap. that said i still go back to my original feelings of im glad ive got one but need a smaller phone for everyday use.
ah what the hell tho if u can afford a p900 get one

Ok guys what do you think.
I live near Barry in Wales.
There is a guy in a not to nice area of town selling 1 P800 unboxed for ?175 and 1 boxed for ?200.
Ok should I go for it?, Could it all go horribly wrong?, Is the IMEI gonna get locked?, Is this the sort of person that sells them on eBay?
shoot from tha hip guys.

hmmm not sure mate as ive nvr bought a second hand phone. u could always go and have a look and test it with ur sim card see if it works. i guess if the imei number would already be blocked if it was stolen. if u get the boxed one u can see the imei number on the side of the box (well u can with orange phones) and match against the phones own imei.
saying that if u can find someone with a really good reputation on ebay selling them then i wouldnt have thought u could go far wrong there? (not used ebay either but from what i hear)

Just got off the phone with my mate that works for orange, maybe some good deals coming my way. But I think I would still prefer to buy a second hand one from a reputable source.
Any other good places to look other than eBay or adtrader?

If you TEST the phone with your own sim before you pay, you should be OK me thinks.
Oh and DO get the boxed one and if at all possible ask if he kept the receipt. forget about the unboxed one.
As for Ebay..... even highly recommended sellers sometimes turn out to sell stolen phones

... as all things in life it's a gamble. I would feel better if I could check the item IRL before making my payment tho. If you don't like what you see, you just walk away.

Wise, very wise.
However the area where the guy is selling these phones is pretty rough. I have the feeling that I will be coming out with the phone or not at all
(like my avatar btw)
