try creating a blank text file called data.cpi and then point it in the direction of that, since i believe that all it uses it for is to log the last posts

Right - New version has groovy popups...

They are slightly weird, the text never seems to align right, but we will see about that...

General feedback?

Also, fixed a bug which meant that the timer and the updates got out of sync...

Important - WHEN YOU ARE UPDATING, MAKE SURE PREVIOUS VERSION IS COMPLETLY EXITED...

That's a cool popup

I thought it was updating early, thought it was just the way it worked. Noticed it was updating with 20 seconds to go.

When i upgrade, it doesn't remember if i checked the update on start up or not?

And yeah - It was updating early, its because in the millisecond that it updated, the timer got paused, but the other one didn't, so it eventually got out of sync...

Shouldn't do with this one...

One way to see the inv. icon is to double click it

Just found out you can double click it to force update, any help files anywhere?

Any way of configuring the amount of time the pop up is for as well?

Yes, if you write them

Let me know when you finnished it, also can i have the source for the finnished version please

. Want to read it, also make it open in ff for me and not the defualt browser, and when the puter loads, load the icon in the sys tray then double click to sign on/off (recieve notices/not) for meself, cause no-one else will need that so no point you doing it

vinnie why not just make FF your default browser? I don't understand why you'd want it to open in a different browser from the one you usually use?

also, why not just add updatechecka to the startup folder for your login only, that way it'll only load when you login to the system?

My dad uses IE and ff will confuse him as he's not a computer expert, although is doing a computing course (ICT though). Plus my ff is my browser not to be shared
