Metallica: Some Kind Of Monster - really good, engrossing documentary. Interesting having a sorta insight into a band making a record, and at the same time knowing that it's probably pretty far removed from the process of making any other record. 8.5/10

Babel - not at all what I expected (trailers really didn't do it justice), plotting the course of several inter-connected stories through language barriers around the world - 7.5/10

I fell asleep in the first 45 minutes of the snore fest that is babel, in summary utter shite - minus 7/10

Brokeback Mountain - good enough story, great epic scenery, but I didn't think it was overly well acted - had no feelings for the characters 6/10

I watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory yesterday. Such a terribly bad film. Not even going to rate it.
