How to get a forum that I can host...

Hi all, just got my new site up and running:

http://www.eflpoland.com

I am using freeforum hosting, but what do I do to host my own forum under my own domain? Maybe the Guru can tell me...do I have to buy one? Where does this forum come from.....as some of ya know, I'm a tech dummy, so any help would be appreciated.

Take a look at http://www.phpbb.com/

yes it is installed on your host and under your domain. As much as i can remember you just move the files to your host, run an install.php file, make some configurations then delete the install.php and it's all set up

Other forums include:

But they would only work if you have PHP and MySQL on your host

Hi mate, I got mine form phpbb.com. As mixin said you have to be on a hosting package PHP and MySQL ro run it. There are alternatives where you can rent them or even get add sponsored forums you can link to, don't know of any off hand but you could always google it.
