So why does the US get charged 50p and we get charged 79p? I thought this was already debated and itunes lowered the price a while back (europe and uk though)?

Yeah probably, but still why are we paying 30p more than the US for the SAME product? The US products don't have lower costs so i don't see how it's justified. Guess that's life though

being completely anti download-only music I've never used iTunes, but is it not possible to use a proxy service and pretend you're in the US whenever you want your music cheaper?
You'd probably have to sign up with a credit card that's registered to a US address... Or use one of those iTunes cards thats in $ and not ?...
On a side note there's an album on the iTunes store for a band I saw at the weekend. Only place to get it as well. Looks like they're not getting a sale off me
