Nokia 8310 - Long Texts

Anyone know of anyway to create long texts with this phone? ie over 160 characters long. can see no way of creting split/long texts and the website is no help.

erm why tf would you want to send a text on one!?

as far as i can remember (i had the misfortune of owning one before i made the switch to SE), you just keep typing and it tells you that it's going into a second message?

nah u cant on this model. in fact it looks as if there is no way to do it

it can't be done! I ad a 8310 but its kak ive sold it to family member! u can send 5 txts in 1 go from my S55, my mates go mad when i do dat lol

Marga Really how many can you send from a T300?!!
is it the same as for the T68/i's?

Im still looking for one of those, why the hell are ppl paying over ?70 for them Secondhand when you can buy 1 brand new for under ?100 flippin heck

Kerry, not sure really, the longest I've done is 6 in one go. If it gets too long it's delievered in 2 bits, so I have no idea how long I can keep typing. Will give it a shot.

well it seems as if there is no way to send long texts with this phone. doh. it's a friend who has one and was asking thus the topic.. will report back a deffo negative then :cry:

On my S55 I have 760 Charractors it tell me on the screen does yours?
it sends as 1 whole text but my mates get them as 5

No it doesn't actually. I just keep typing and suddenly it says SMS2, later SMS3 and so forth.
PM me your number and I'll send you a lengthy text then

Mixin... if we wouldn't TALK so much on msn already I might in fct have enough to put in a long text message
