Pidgin (ex-Gaim) IM client finally gets 2.0.0 release

After months (years?) of legal wrangling with AOL, Gaim was recently renamed as Pidgin, and today got it's first release as 2.0.0

http://www.pidgin.im is the address, unfortunately it's down at the moment (a pain as I wanted to know which ports to allow in my firewall), but you can still download it from SourceForge here

It's looking good!

don't know anyone who doesn't have MSN besides one person who uses yahoo which is now compatible = no reason top use GAIM although it is a decent proggy.

yik. been using Pidgin last few days, seems a much more refined programme than the Gaim betas I used in the past, tis a good release
