SWOS comes to Xbox 360, Windows

It's been much-anticipated but finally coming soon: Sensible World ofSoccer - the original and best football game of all time comes toXbox Live Arcade and Windows Vista in the summer! Welcome to the first of the Sensible World of Soccer newsletters,where, over the next few months, I'll be going wild over the latestnews about one of the most thrilling game releases for many a year. I'll also be highlighting in-depth details about the game, throughour SWOS forum articles we started running in mid-February. Firstly, and most importantly, as any fool knows, Sensible World ofSoccer (SWOS) was born out of the original version of Sensible Soccerin 1994. Further iterations came each year until 1997. But it's the1996 game, regarding as the pinnacle of the series, that'll form thebasis of the Xbox Live Arcade/Vista game released this summer. And we're committed *not to change a thing* about the game's coregameplay.

not sure if SWOS came out on MegaDrive, Sensible Soccer did for sure, which is basically the same game (albeit a limited version of).... SWOS is still my favourite game of all time

SWOS = Sensible World Of Soccer, twas the Sensi engine added to basic management options (but you still played the games), and featuring every professional football team in the entire world (a feat that has never been repeated), you could start your career at a Faroe Islands league team and work your way up to England manager, 'twere ace
