AOL's Active Virus Shield

Post by fac51 »

Here's a nice (and free) anti-virus application I've discovered. If you've been using the free version of AVG then you may be interested in AOL's offering. It's better featured and feels more professional plus it scans for spyware which is always a bonus.

Say what you like about AOL's internet services but this application gets a big thumbs up from me!

What i heard, could be a mix up? On their site it says something about 7.1 AVG free being discontinued on the 17th however, it may mean a new version is coming out and people are misunderstanding it?
