hmmm just seen that Steam are offering Defcon for $9.95 if you pre-order, rather than the ?10 from the official site, I think i'll pre-order it now

as i don't have a credit card anymore i had to order it from the official site - saying that i get a boxed copy as well as a download so its not all bad

seems i can't do it anyway, my wireless connection is working fine this morning, until i click the confirm payment button in Steam, whereby the wireless connection instantly drops, and then connects again as soon as I close the payment screen. tried this several times now and same thing every time ffs

oh fook, just now noticed that Steam sent me an email this morning saying that my purchase was succesful, and that the game would now show up in My Games in Steam..... it doesn't

just logged on, Steam came straight up and confirmed my payment, and now DEFCON appears in my games list

just completed the tutorial, was getting my ass kicked in the final tutorial mission at first, but turned it around and ran out a 120 to -3 winner
