What version of messenger are you running in this pic ed ?

messenger 8.0 beta, got invited on to the beta a few days back. seems ok - the only major difference i found so far is it lets you set up a shared folder to share stuff with your selected friends.

you can tell the status of your firends by the colour of their icons rhather than a next next to there names.

the colour theme can be easily changed to anything you want but the adds are too big imo. there are a few other nice touches but nothing that much different from the older versions.

you can still get it arf, a quick Google last night (when vinnie asked me if i knew where to get it), resulted in loadsa places to download it from

erm just for the people who someone invites

can be downloaded but be careful because there a fake trojan files around.

seems like you have to get a patch if you can get a client without an invite.

no i just need your hotmail addy which i already have. i guess all the people i send invites too may well get invites in a few days to send to more people so everyone should get one over the next week or so.
