Firefox hints&tips thread
no idea, dont use gmail but the fixes are for all sorts
Mozilla Firefox 1.0.7, a security and stability update to the flagship Mozilla browser, is now available for download. Fixes are included for the international domain name (IDN) link buffer overflow vulnerability and the Linux command line URL parsing flaw. There are also other security and stability changes, including a fix for a crash experienced when using certain Proxy Auto-Config scripts. In addition, some regressions introduced by previous 1.0.x security updates have been resolved.
The Mozilla Foundation previously issued a patch for Firefox 1.0.6 that protected users against the IDN link buffer overflow flaw at the expense of removing support for IDNs. Firefox 1.0.7 has a more permanent solution that does not involve disabling IDN functionality and any users who installed the patch will find that IDN support is restored when they upgrade.
Firefox 1.0.7 can be downloaded f

Anyone know of a cookie whitelist? Because i like to leave my ff cookies to delete when firefox closes, but although i've managed to get the cookies to work and remember me on guru and mobile 9, google messes up after a while so i can't use my homepage
. I've set it to allow in the exceptions but that doesn't seem to make a difference
. I though cookie culler did this but it doesn't look like it did so i deleted that.
Thanks
Thanks

Thanks
I used to have it off, till just now
Also put ad blocking on (made it a bit laggy on m9, but i unchecked block animation and now it's fine?
don't think that should have been doing anything though? oh well).
I got ZA set to medium with cookie blocking, i still want cookies to be allowed just want them deleted unless i over ride them, when ff closes to save space and delete the rubbish i don't want
. But with ZA like this at least it'll stop trackers operating before i close ff
Edit: It started deleted my forum logon cookies for some reason so i switched it off
