arfur if u make me admin on ur forum i can try using the phpbb restore form backup function. urs is a slightly older version bb would this matter?

so can i get this straight.. all i do is a restore form backup in the forums admin index? it wont matter that it is a different version number or that arfur already had a thread on it?

you can have a 2.05 version if you want

ed has ftp settings that chris can use if you can send them to him ed please or i will do it when i get home.

just tried to upload a backup onto arfs forums. it spent 5 mins uploading then at the end it said "no file was loaded" ? :?:

sent it - did u get it? i would be interested to see guru restored to arf's forum as it would put my mind at ease over this
