dunno what i did (or a family member did) to thunderbird but i lost all my folders! just spend a few mins trying to work out what the hell has happened. seems all my folders and info where saved in loacal folder buit thunderbird is now running of loacal folder_1 and therefore not reading any of the info/folders etc.
tried deleting loacl folder and renaming local folder-1 back to local folder but thunderbird just created local folder_1 again! had to just move all my info etc out of the old one into the new one.
no idea why it happened tho. maybe something to do with me creating and configuring new users as part of my course or alice playing on the keyboard.
i only seem to have local folders i seem to remember changing some of those settings not long ago, ergo it was probably me who fooked up my folders without realising it
nah but that probably because ive moved all the data around manually now ive got my guru4u folders back but without all my extra stuff because i must have already manually moved that from the guru4u folder.. ive lost the plot now.. so anyway ive copied all the stuff i moved back earlier back to my new guru4u folder now so i think ive gone insane la la la time for bed
go into your firewall config, find the add programs settings, remove your email if they are there then run and ket it find them again and it will auto config them. and yes norton have really screwed up their product, its shite now.l
