Bought myself a dvd writer today as my dvdrom was fubared

got an LG Dual 8X DVD Writer - going to go backup crazy now :)

Nah it's not dual layer, couldnt be arsed stumping out another ?20 for a dual layer drive. these are the specs:

DVD writers are cheap as chips these days, ebuyer have one going for about ?45 (inc VAT).. even though it is a load of arse :arse:

yeah i know, they were like ?200 last year. ?56 for an 8x multi format writer is a bargain imo. burned 70 gigs worth of stuff last night, all backed up and happy :) didn't get one duff disk either which was nice :)
