so i took the back off this morning. no speed etc on the label, just Samsung m368l3313ct1-cb0, so luckily a quick google revealed that that model is 256MB PC2100

your mobo probably would accept it anyway. they have limits on the amount they will recognise.

yeah i know mine'll only take up to 1Gb total

thought the max was 1gb
