Know of some great bargains on the net or down town or want to buy and sell at your own risk?

"150" TV/PC lens

Post by jamesd »

I brought an item off Ebay for ?8 which you can make your own projector. I dont know why I brought it because I cant build anything. When I got my Snooker table I put the legs the wrong way round  and plus you need about ?20-30 worth of materials I have decided to give it to Goodwin (psykotik) and if he accepts it hopefully he will post here to say how the building of it is getting on and if it actually works.

No you don't need a bulb, all you need is:,

. Wood
. Super Glue
. The lens
. Black spray paint

Basically, you stick your flaky old 15 inch haunted fishtank upside down in one end of this box you have to make, and the lens is at the other end.
Swith on telly bunkum box and watch as the faboolous picturage gets projected on the object of your choice albeit 800% bigger than it started.

Looks good, but the box is a pain in the arse to build as its very specific about finding delta angles for the lens to achieve optimal projection :(

Just thinking what sticking a laser through the lens might do
